                 Giving back to our community is something that all of us can do, whether it be from picking up trash on the sidewalk to volunteering at shelters. It’s important to give back throughout the year because we can help the people in our society that cannot support themselves.  One good service we can do is to donate unused food items. Donating food that you aren’t going to eat is a better alternative than throwing it in the trash because you can help feed people that cannot afford food for themselves. The S.E.A.L. Team worked together to provide food for the people in need. Non-perishable food items were collected and delivered to food banks, like CHiPs and Reaching Out Community Services. By doing this Act of Kindness, we learned that donating or volunteering may seem like a small task- but they can make a big difference.
